The Friends of the Library

The Friends are a volunteer group who help with fundraising and sponsor programs that the library could not otherwise afford.

They hold 2 terrific BOOK SALES each year in the Spring and Fall at Dutchway Market. They are always looking for more books—please drop off books at the library for our next Book Sale. (No encyclopedias or text books please)

Our meetings are every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:45pm at the library. Please come and join us we are always looking for more FRIENDS.

Friends have several special events planned, please join us!!!!

Pet Parade: Will be held at the Lions Club Community Building. Parade starts at 11:00am. Registration is 10:00am - 11:00am. Entrance fee is $10.00 for 1 pet or $15.00 for 2 pets. Prizes will be given in these categories; Funniest, Most Creative, Looks Most Like Owner, Scariest, and Most Adorable. For everyone’s safety all pets must be controlled and on a leash. Come and join in on the fun!!.

Friends Book Sale:
Thursday, October 23, 5pm – 9pm
Friday, October 24, 7am – 9pm
Saturday, October 25, 7am – 1pm

All kinds of bargains!! Hardcover books, paperbacks, audios, videos and more - for all ages!!!!! Held at Dutchway Market, Rt. 41, Christiana, PA

Antique Evaluation: Saturday, November 22nd held at the Christiana Firehouse 9:00am - 2:00pm. Doors open at 8:30am. Evaluation tickets are 1 for $5.00 – 2 for $10.00 – 3 for $12.00. Professional appraisers will be available to evaluate your antiques, collectibles,, and memoribilia. Last ticket will be sold at 1:00pm. Refreshments will be sold. If you have any questions call 610-593-2375. No written evaluations.
